Just in the Knick of time

One goal I had this summer is to teach Kylie how to swim. And with a few days left here in Philly and some tips from Shawn the lifeguard and Ryan, Kylie is "officially" swimming. As you can see from the video I wouldn't exactly call her proficient in this sport... yet.

6 months

Wow so I really cant believe its been 6 months. Pros at this point are a cute little tummy, baby's movements and Kylie's excitement about the whole thing. Cons would be: having a hard time sleeping, pretty uncomfortable sitting or standing for long periods.

While things are getting closer, and I have a plethora of time, I am researching my birthing options for this little surprise. I was reading a bit about the Bradley method which really got me thinking but I am still on the hunt for the "perfect" birth plan... This delivery I want to be different than the first. I want the same out come, healthy baby/ healthy mom, but I want to go a bit longer with out an epidural, use my body more and look super cute doing it:)

Ky and I took advantage of this over cast day and did a little Pre-school photo shoot. She starts this next month! A funny little story... Last month Kylie and I were in the Grocery store and there was a lady with a huge tattoo on her chest. Kylie's says, "Why does she have a stamp on her?"
I reply, "Because she made a bad decision."
Kylie," Does Jesus not want us to have stamps?"
Me, "No."
Kylie," What about story time? Can we get stamps in story time?"
She cracks me up!

My oh My!

Okay, so I really hope we have a girl because is it possible to get any cuter than this? I am officially the only one in my whole family who hasn't been able to squeeze this little Cannon pie but rest assured I have a grand plan on how I will become the favorite aunt. I will reveal this masterful plan when it is completed. Watch out Kelsey and Cara. Its that good:)

23 Weeks!

23 Weeks... Don't ask me why I put up that hideous pict! OMG What was I thinking! Baby is doing so well and super happy (I can tell bc Baby loves to do high fives with Ky) Baby loves our morning runs and Rita's... what could be better?

Pool PArTy!

Today was the annual quarter toss. If your not familiar with this tradition it is when APX throws in some money, this year it was $300, in quarters and the guys jump in and fight for every last one. Its quite a sight, it reminds me of salmon spawning. These are fun times! Notice Conrad's goggles are actually Kylie's!

Summer Buddies

Savana and Kylie have been good little buddies this summer. We are so sad they left us! But a bit jealous they get to sleep in their own beds:) Cant wait for that glorious day!
