Thanksgiving Day Prep
The most exciting thing ever is happening on Thanksgiving (unless I have Baby that day) my whole family is coming here! I am so thrilled to have everyone! I know Rexburg is not the most convenient place so I am Thankful that they are making the effort so we can all be together. Ky made a head piece to wear for Turkey Day. Did you want one too Kurt?:) One tradition Conrad and I have is to take a hike in the morning before dinner. We started it 3 years ago when we climbed the Y mountain, so I'm wondering who will be carrying me this year? And of course here are the place cards I made for the table. A little spray paint and some twigs go along way! PS I AM DILATED TO A 3!! Here
we go...
Once again...
My Moms recipe was a hit so here is it is, Tait's and Dales'...
Mint Chocolate Brownies
Brownie mix: PS I just use boxed mix... I like it better.
1 cup oil 1 tsp. salt
2 cup of sugar ½ cup cocoa
4 eggs 1 ½ cup of flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix by hand (use wooden spoon) and bake in greased 9 x 13 glass pan for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool then frost.
Frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
4 Tb. soft butter or margarine
2 Tb. milk
1 tsp. peppermint extract
Spread frosting on brownies and let stand till set. I put it into the fridge.
Chocolate glaze:
Melt 2 oz. squares unsweetened chocolate & 2 Tb. butter and spread over frosting. Chill till firm.
This is one of our family favorite Christmas treats and the recipe comes from Grandma K.

I'll love you forever I'll like you for always as long as I'm living my Baby you'll be
It is so surreal to me to think I will be a mom of two. I am way to excited to find out what this little bundle is. Honestly I really had no intention of not finding out what the sex of the Baby was for the whole pregnancy. At first it was a bet with my mom. My dad had lost his job this past summer and my mom and I made a bet that I wouldn't find out what I was having until Dad found a job. I knew he would find one before the end of Nov. so I figured as soon as he did find one I would have Conrad tell. But somehow that little fact didn't appeal to me. Don't ask me why. I did have my moments of weakness but somehow I managed. So for now Baby is a mystery to all of us but not for long and I cant wait to meet this little kissable feti!
I am really sad Baby is coming so fast, this pregnancy has flown by. Even now sitting here I just shake my head like where did those 9 months go? I love feeling Baby inside me I just feel like I haven't had enough time to enjoy it. But what makes me more excited than anything is being able to bring Baby home to a proud little sister to be smothered and kissed and loved like no other...

Old friend, good times.
This past week Conrad invited us along on a little business trip. We kept busy by exploring Bronco Country. We drove up to see my childhood friend and her cute family. Kylie and little smarty pants Miss M. loved playing. We even went to Oregon for lunch... which was one step closer to our beautiful Evergreen state!! Thanks Steph for the fun play date! PS check out her music here

HaPpY HalLowEEn!!
Conrad decided not to dress up this year but somehow managed to win the "best costume award". (He has been spending allot of time in Montana:) And Kylie is becoming more and more like her mother and is a bit indecisive, hence the 3 costume changes this Halloween! Kylie loved playing with Mr.H all night and you have to check out the owl costume Jenna made (that baby N is in!) She is the most creative little mama ever! Kelsey had Ky over on Monday night and they carved pumpkins with her Family Home Evening group. Kylie loves the college life with Kels!
